I am a creative designer and a professional photographer with a background in studying and working in commercial graphic design, and I am currently working as a graphic design intern. I apply design thinking to understand and solve complex problems in commercial organisations. I am willing to work in an environment full of creativity and passion. And provide visual design solutions to different groups of users and clients.
About
I, Peng Wang, am a freelance designer and photographer. I grew up and was deeply influenced by the emergence and rise of internet culture. I am from China, and I completed my studies in Australia. This experience gave me a personal perspective on internationalization, and I incorporated this philosophy into my designs.
When it comes to visual design, my goal is to be a trusted designer. I hope the audience can communicate more effectively with a simplified graphic design. For enterprises, efficiency is also one of the components of opportunity cost. More effective communication saves time and costs, creating more opportunities. I want my design to become a bridge for people to communicate and connect different groups through the popular design language. Rather than working alone, I prefer to face fresh challenges with the team, analyze and simplify complex problems faced by various methods and solve them together with the team. Besides that, I also practised my photography skills. My systematic study of photography and graphic design brought me practical experience and ideas for commercial photography. This ability helps me add authenticity when creating promotional-related materials.
I worked as a design consultant for a consulting company regarding practical work. I participated in and perfected the visual materials required for company presentations, which became my previous work experience. I participated in the research and redesign, which gave me a clear understanding of redesigning the company's existing materials. I also founded a small design studio with my university classmates and participated in two design works in the studio. The two jobs are an online pet supply store and an online florist. During these two jobs, I was responsible for the preliminary user communication research and designing materials related to brand image.
